We partner and support middle and high school aged student groups by providing resources and exposure using our REACH Participation Model.
Connection
We strive to help connect youth across the globe in a shared mission of respect and appreciation for the interconnectedness of all life.
REACH Participation Model
RESEARCH
Participating students identify nonhuman primates to study. They study the primates' natural habitat and the social, economic, and political climate of the primates' native country. What factors threaten the livelihood of the nonhuman primates being studied.
ENGAGE
Students engage a school, zoo, or primate orphanage to form a pen pal, email, or video conferencing relationship to learn more about the local culture so that they can be more effective as primate ambassadors.
ACTIVATE
Students activate their learning and relationship building by developing a plan to make a difference, raise money to support causes, speak at relevant events. What will the success measures or key performance indicators be?
COMMUNICATE
Communicate on a regular basis with nonprofits and buddy school/organization. Post chapter updates to social media in accordance with school policies.
HELP
Students make a difference and evaluate success relative to success measures/key performance indicators.
Dr. Jane Goodall
"There is still so much in the world worth fighting for. So much that is beautiful, so many wonderful people working to reverse the harm, to help alleviate the suffering. And so many young people dedicated to making this a better world. All conspiring to inspire us and to give us hope that it is not too late to turn things around, if we all do our part."
